Convert prepares a still replacement before moving the Live original to Recently Deleted. Delete keeps no replacement. Check your choices and new stills before permanently deleting originals.

Originals use storage until they leave Recently Deleted. Check your stills, then permanently remove only the originals you intend to delete, or let them expire. The app cannot empty this album. Storage totals may take time to update.

Yes. Cloud-only originals may need to download first. Library changes sync across devices on the same account. With Optimize iPhone Storage, local savings may differ from estimates because the video was not fully stored on your phone.

The app processes photos on your device without uploading them to a developer-operated server. Apple’s iCloud downloads and syncing still work. No account is needed. The app uses no third-party tracking SDKs.

Where possible, the app preserves format, including HEIF, plus supported dates, locations, favorites, and editable album membership. Each still is a new asset; some embedded metadata, editing history, or Live Photo effects may differ. Check important photos before removing originals.

Recover the Live original from Recently Deleted while available—normally up to 30 days. Both the original and still may remain afterward. The app cannot restore motion or sound after permanent deletion.
